Ken Woodard

By:

Ken Woodard began his career as an art director in 1987 at DDB when greats like Helmut Krone, Lester Feldman, and Bob Kuperman still roamed the hallways. Within three years he had moved to California and produced award-winning work for Southwestern Bell and Bank of America, traveling as far as Prague to shoot the Levi’s commercial voted one of the year’s Ten Best by Time Magazine. Collaborators on the “Top 501 Reasons” campaign included maverick filmmakers Gus Van Sant, Spike Jonze, and David Fincher and writer Suzanne Finnamore. He leveraged this success to establish an eclectic career as art director, and designer for clients Reebok, Burger King, Ford, esurance, Hilton, Phillips, Old Navy, and Lincoln.

Nothing can stop this native New Yorker who has been a valuable member of the Baker Street team since 2006.

Lesly Pyle

By:

Lesly is a true Sooner. She was born in Oklahoma. 2 weeks early. She wrote an award-winning Coke commercial and became obsessed with advertising at age 10. 8 years early. In 2000, she graduated with honors from top-ranked OU journalism school. 1 year early. And she hasn’t slowed down since.

Lesly’s been the right-hand to some of the most talented creatives [subtext: challenging personalities] in the industry. From JWT to FCB to Goodby to Apple to coming full-circle at Baker Street (as its legacy stems from FCB), she’s made quite a footprint in SF. Which is particularly impressive since her golf shoes are only a size 6. A number she wishes matched her handicap. (If only she started playing golf sooner.)

“I’m the only Baker Streeter who’s had a crush on Michael Keaton since I was 11. Talk about early.”

Farida Bordiwalla

By:

“Unwavering!”  “Meticulous!”  “Passionate!” The woman behind the curtain. If you want it done right, done fast, and done without a second thought, Farida’s the one to do it. And she can do it in several languages. The all-knowing one has been with BSA since day-one, applying her inexhaustible talents and unique brand of magic to keep the agency running like a well-oiled machine. Armed with a BA in Accounting from Mumbai University, Farida arrived in SF in 1987, immediately landed her first job at FCB, and has worked in the ad biz ever since. Oh, the stories she could tell!

“I’m the only Baker Streeter who’s called the ‘Bollywood Diva.’”

Brody McHugh

By:

Brody was drawn to advertising out of her love for the creative world. She is a well-rounded producer doing everything from photography, broadcast TV, web videos, radio, social media and documentary film in all their various phases of planning, budgeting, production and post production. She served as Head of Production for Albert Watson’s production company, cYclops and as EP at RadicalMedia’s post company, Outpost Digital. Brody has worked in LA & NYC for companies like Pytka, Moxie, Bob and more recently for Wieden+Kennedy, Apple and a little show you might’ve heard of called The Book of Mormon. In 2012, Baker Street stole her away and she’s been with us ever since.

Brody graduated cum laude from UCLA and has an uncommon love for Excel docs and bullet points.

“I’m the only Baker Streeter whose parents each have 1960s posters hanging in MOMA NYC.”

Brian Bacino

By:

“Our job is to grow brands through strategic imagination and master storytelling.”

Bacino began his ad career in NYC as an Account Executive on Coca-Cola, where he picked up his legendary addiction to Diet Coke and a wicked instinct for creative strategy.

He spent 17 years at FCB SF, rising from AE to Executive Creative Director, while creating globally famous campaigns — TV, Digital, Print, and Outdoor — for Levi’s, MTV, Fox Sports, Budweiser, Taco Bell, Clorox, Hilton Hotels, and Sega, to name a few. Directing film content for Honda, eBay, Yahoo, and the SF Giants, has given Bacino a filmmaker’s eye for story and detail, particularly useful while filming his 2 teenage daughters’ soccer and lacrosse games.

“I’m the only Baker Streeter who played in the Little League World Series and currently plays softball for The Rotten Bastards.”
